Located a short walk from Knocklea, Strone is a two-bedroomed holiday cottage situated close to the River Alness and Novar woodlands with exclusive access to its own river pool.

On the ground floor is a large kitchen/dining area with boot room and separate utility and drying room making it perfect for walkers and off-road cyclists with dirty boots and clothing!  Upstairs, the sitting room has French windows leading to a balcony where the guests can fully absorb the stunning scenery surrounding them. There is a wood-burning stove to make this room very comfortable and relaxing. Also on the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and an enormous walk-in shower. The other double bedroom has its own separate bathroom, too. 

The house boasts a large enclosed garden with a path that leads to Strone Pool, a natural feature of the Alness that is perfect for taking a dip or casting a fly. The pool does not form part of the fishing beat rotation so Strone guests have exclusive use of it.

The cottage is suitable for children over the age of eight but due to its close proximity to Strone Pool, we are unable to take bookings for families with younger children.

Strone is available for long or short breaks. Dogs are welcome in non-carpeted areas.
