If you ever wanted to get away from it all or write the book you know you’ve got in you, this is the perfect retreat from the distractions of modern life.

A cosy two-room cottage, Kinloch has an open-plan kitchen, living and sleeping area with a sumptuous four-poster double bed at the far end. At the other end is a comfortable sofa and wood-burning stove with windows on two sides allowing plenty of light in and views out over the woodland and the riparian landscape below. The bathroom is separate to the main space and has a free-standing bath with underfloor heating. It is compact but luxurious. 

Being just a short walk from Loch Morie, your walking and cycling options are manifold. Or, should you prefer, simply stop and stay put: enjoy the views, soak up the atmosphere, rest and recharge.

Kinloch is a very rare and special holiday cottage that guests return to year after year. 

It is remote and can sometimes only be accessed on foot or in a 4 x 4 vehicle, so please make sure you are prepared and believe it when we say ‘off-grid’, we mean it! There are books, jigsaws and board games for your entertainment; incredible views, walks and wildlife have been provided at no extra cost.

The cottage is available for short breaks for a minimum of three nights. Pets can be accommodated by prior arrangement. There are kennels for two dogs on site.
