Converted from an 18th Century stables, Ardtalla is positioned at the heart of the estate, adjacent to Novar’s five-acre walled garden.
A welcoming entrance hall leads to a spacious galleried hall with a glazed lantern to the roof through which natural daylight showers the hall. There is also a grand open fire for comfort in colder Highland temperatures. It is perfect for parties and gatherings or meeting for an aperitif before a delicious dinner.
Three sets of doors open out from the drawing room onto a wide terrace where drinks can be enjoyed on warm summer evenings or where one can simply sit back and absorb the beauty of the gardens. There is also a drying room and secure gun room for sporting parties. It is the perfect place for large groups to gather to celebrate and enjoy the finer things of life. It its also ideal for team-building exercises providing lots of space to break out when needed.
The opulent dining room seats 20 guests. There are two further large reception rooms, both with open fires, and a first floor games room with a billiard table and table tennis to keep guests of all ages occupied. All nine en suite bedrooms have free-standing baths and large showers. Every room is furnished and decorated to Novar’s luxury standards.
The kitchen is well-equipped for catering staff to prepare meals for up to 20 guests. An inventory is available should you need it but rest assured that we have everything you need or can acquire it. If you require cooking staff for your stay, we recommend contacting Cindy Webster. Larch Cottage offers comfortable accommodation for your chef.
