Beat 3 fishes well in both high and low water. A Spring salmon in good condition is very achievable here from May onwards and earlier than that is always worth a cast.

On a bright day, the Falls and Shingle Bank are often sheltered from the sun.

Those fortunate enough to have the whole beat, might consider parking at Folly, walking up to the March Pool and fishing all the way down to the Stones Pool.
