Beat 2

A beat of contrasts, starting in wide open country and flowing down in to the gorge.

Beat 2 is most productive later in the season. However, the gorge on the lower half is known to produce some good fishing earlier on. A fish or two will sit in the Junction Pool  once the grilse run starts.

The Crag Pool is much loved by sea trout fishermen.
